CO150 Grammar Intervention: Using and Evaluating Ferris
This research project was conducted in my E634 Classroom-Based Research course, in conjunction with my CO150 International Internship. This project is a good example of my concern with selecting appropriate resources which are effective for my given teaching context. This concern was the rationale for my classroom-based research project, which sought to find out whether Ferris' (2002) written error correction instrument, commonly used among CO150 teachers, is effective for international students in CO150. In addition, the project aimed to assist students in learning how to use a resource to foster their independent learning.
